At our meeting on Saturday, 17th March, we walked around the central Chorlton area and looked at possible places to park the Car Co-op's cars. Maps and notes are available here.
At the same meeting we discussed the relative merits of buying and leasing cars: on the one hand, buying cars costs a lot of money up front (but then we might be able to apply for grants to cover this) and leaves us responsible for the maintenance. On the other hand, it could prove cheaper in the long run than leasing cars. We will probably be guided by the practice and experience of other UK clubs.
